I run a small highly specialized classic BMW shop in Western Pennsylvania. My work shirts read: "Pervertito del Carburatori".... and there's nothing better than the sound of Webers.
Here are some of the Weber related photos you might find of interest. 90% of the BMWs I work on are the 2002 model, produced from 1968-1976.

The car is a 1966 Ford GT 40 MK 1 that was made by ERA to replicate a car that raced in Le Mans in 1965 that was owned by Scuderia Filipinetti Racing Team, the original one burnt up in a fire. Everything on the car is period correct and exact to the original one, with the Ford 289 Hi Po K code engine, rims, seats, gauges and whatever else you can find. The car is fitted with 4 Weber 48 IDA's and uses a ZF 5 speed transmission.

'86 VW Passat GTS Pointer - 2x 40 DCOE, Owner: Gus Loeffler, Curitiba, PR, Brasil. This is my VW Passat here in Brasil. This car is on your site, but I made some modifications, specially the new wheels, Fifteen52 made in USA, 15x8 with 195/45R15 Yokohama tires. The engine has 1950cc, 306o camshaft, dual Weber 40 DCOE, around 200Hp. The whole car was modified in mechanical items, brakes (discs in 4 wheels), gearbox, clutch, radiator, oil cooler, etc. Thank you for the opportunity! Regards from Brasil.

"Normale" Spider (now "Abnormale" Spider, called that because of the engine swap to an Alfa 1750 engine [actually 1779 cc], with mods).
